My name is Madeleine Balcombe, and I am a 23 year old PPA-accredited journalist. I am currently working at Ideal Home magazine as Editorial Assistant.

 

I gained a Postgraduate Diploma in MA Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University, after graduating with a First Class Honours BA degree in Journalism, Media and English Literature.

 

In my work to date I have covered a variety of topics, including: health and wellbeing, arts and culture, food, travel and current affairs. My skills include news writing, feature writing, podcasting, subediting, researching, interviewing, basic teeline shorthand.
